So, er, um, eep. I finally finished re-writing and filling out all the sections on my personal ad. I'd been letting the different ideas and suggestions percolate in the back of my head, and tonight wrote them out.

The site is here. Personally, I think Pearz is a great site to have a profile on, but if you just want to go there to look at my ad, they have sample accounts you can use to explore the site. Find my ad by logging into a sample account, preferrably one that is interested in meeting women, and enter the site. From there, on the top left side is a magnifying glass icon called Search. In the box called Handle Search, put in my handle for this site, which is Phedre no Delaunay.

*wry smile* No, I'm not as extreme as that character is, for those of you who have read the book Kushiel's Dart, but I was rather fascinated by the character. So, I picked the name as a distinctive handle. Just, be warned if you go looking at this site, you may find out more about me and my preferences than you actually wanted to know. ;)

*chuckles* Woman, you're asking for so much trouble with that handle. :)

It was a good book though, wasn't it?

*grins* I remember the night [livejournal.com profile] kendaer bought it... he'd picked it out, as well as another book, and asked me which one he should buy. I put both behind my back and made him pick blind.

Neither of us regretted the choice. We're waiting breathlessly for Kushiel's Chosen to come out in paperback.

I have it in hardcover; you're welcome to borrow it (of course) as soon as I get it back from Steve Powell.

Aye, I know, but I was in a rather reckless mood when I chose it, and it seems silly to go put together a different handle.

It was an incredible book. The cover caught my eye when I was browsing a bookstore in Westlake, and after reading the back I had to pick it up.

Paperback? *grin* I couldn't wait that long, I bought it in hardback. I'm looking forward to when the third book comes out in hardback too. =) Kushiel's Avatar, if I remember the title correctly.
