I love my household. Each of us is currently in different rooms of the house, doing various things with computers or the T.V./DVD player, and we're all perfectly content with this. Living somewhere that I can do my own thing when I feel like it is a precious gift. :)

*nods* Having your own space, even if it's not totally closed off from the rest of the house, is definitely a Big Thing.

That and when you can be in a space with someone else and each doing your own thing and not feel antsy about the other's well-being... that's a good relationship.
