Surrounded by laughter, music, friends.
Sharing smiles, enjoying awe and awww.
"How is this my life?"
A common refrain, reminding me of all I have to cherish.
Monkeys, vixens, Queens of Heaven,
Songbirds, costumers, punsters and other wits.
Missing those absent, drinking in all that surrounds me.
Slaking thirst better than water.

Dancing earlier, moving and being moved.
Gifts given and received.
"How is this my life?"
More blessings than I ever expected to know.
Art cards, comics, harmonies,
jokes, gestures, perfect moments and hugs.
Sharing space and songs, tasting all that beauty.
Feeding hunger better than cookies.

"How is this my life?"
I don't know, but I don't ever want it to stop.

I love this! It encompasses that night and so much more. I agree completely on the "How is this my life?" line and it is all the more evident when mundanes ask me on Monday, "What did you do this weekend?" How can I explain in any way that could start to encompass what I would mean. :)

At least we can talk to each other. :)
