13. Voice of Crow by Jeri Smith-Ready - This is book 2 of the Aspect of Crow series. I like how the author keeps the main character around, but lets the book focus more on a secondary character from the first book.
14. The Reawakened by Jeri Smith-Ready - Book 3 of the Aspect of Crow series. I'm definitely finding this one to be my favorite of the series. I like how the author deals with a shamanic culture, and wish I could find out more information on all the animal Aspects that come up. I'd definitely recommend this series to any of Runnerwolf's students, or anyone else with shamanic leanings.
15. 20th Century Ghosts by Joe Hill - I am very impressed with this author's abilities as a storyteller. I haven't seen such a delicate balance of both telling the story, and leaving it up to the reader to fill in implications, and in a few cases even endings. His stories engage the imagination, and send it flying down some very interesting pathways. He has an equally deft touch with horror. I'm not saying any of these stories in and of themselves would give me nightmares, but shudders and shivers there were aplenty in following these tales.
