The deepest night holds many secrets
Echoing within the space of a room
Answers seem far out of reach
Reason flees as emotion floods
Sobs resound with truth finally spoken

Listening, you bring me peace
Intensity mars my voice
Killing pain by holding my body
Emotion gives way as you speak your truths

Remembering all that brings you dear to me
Adding up all the joy
Investigating the possibilities
Now I look forward to the future
