Caffeine is *NOT* my friend.

I spent most of today fighting off one panic attack after another. Figured out why, though.

Y'see, earlier this week a co-worker of mine was going to stop by a coffee shop, and asked me if I wanted anything. I decided I was in the mood for a decaf mocha, and it was mostly good, but a bit on the bitter side. This reminded me of how very good Tully's decaf mochas are, and on Friday I decided to stop in and get one. Note, I did not get the small size, I got the medium size. (Since switching to an occasional decaf, I've always bought the small size in the past.)

I'm *reasonably* certain that the gal did in fact give me decaf, because she caught herself making it with regular the first time, and fixed it. Sar pointed out to me that a medium size has 2 shots, and that even decaf contains some amount of caffeine. It's very weird to me that something I drank yesterday morning affected me so much today.

So, I think from now on I'll just ask for essentially a hot chocolate, put chocolate in the cup like you would for a mocha, add a shot of hazelnut, and add the steamed milk. Very good to taste, and not likely to leave me feeling this freaked out and disoriented all damn day. :P
